OUR STORY
Meet our Founder
At Grace Montessori School, we believe in the power of curiosity, discovery, and a child’s natural drive to learn. Our story began with the personal and professional journey of our founder, Cristina Nacey, whose path to Montessori education was as unique as it was inspiring.
_____
I initially pursued an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and History, driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and the past. However, the Lord had other plans for me. While completing my studies, I began working as a Montessori assistant, and that experience completely changed my path. I fell in love with the Montessori philosophy and its beautiful approach to education, which nurtures each child’s potential in such a profound and respectful way.
When I became a mother, my daughters became my greatest inspiration and motivation. I wanted to give them the best educational foundation possible, and that desire reignited my passion for Montessori. I pursued my American Montessori Society (AMS) credential at June Shelton School in Dallas, Texas, a journey that deepened my commitment to this transformative method of education.
With my daughters as my driving force, I founded Grace Montessori School to bring the benefits of Montessori education to more children in our community. I wanted to create a place where children feel respected, inspired, and empowered to learn and grow at their own pace.
Today, our school reflects my vision of a nurturing environment where children can explore their unique interests, develop practical life skills, and grow both academically and emotionally. It is my greatest joy to see young minds flourish, and I am honored to partner with families to help shape the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and innovators—always, the Montessori way.
